Welcome To Avalon Arts:
Home of the "Creativists"
I am a disabled artist. That may not politically correct in this day and age, but that is what I am. I wish for others that are mentally and/or physically challenged to see this site as a way to express their "enabling" talents; whether it be with artwork, poetry, writing, sculpture, or any other "Creative" work(s) of one's heart. This is a showcase for all the wonderful and beautiful people out there who wish to share their "soulific" messages within; A Place for all "Challenged" to meet their Creative Challenges. We all have the potential. Some have the desire. But few have the will or the means to succeed. This site will give you the "Means". it is up to you to accept this Challenge and show your talents to the World with your inate desire and your very strong Will! My only hope is that there are those out there that will share and participate in this dream... |
So You wish to Be a Creativist?
Submission Guidelines: If you so desire to have your inner-art shown; please email me at ladyavalon@cfl.rr.com and please include an attachent with your creative endeavors. (For artwork; preferably less than 50k jpg format please. (If I need a larger picture I will email you for one. For those that use dial-up; I try to keep the artwork sizes small.)
For writing, please use txt, rtf, html, or doc formats. (You can also copy/paste it directly into your email.)
For those of you that will be sending in artwork and poetry; please use the above formats. Don't forget to give me your name, email, & the title(s) of your work(s).
One last note...in this day and age there are those individuals that "plex" us with viruses; so please virus check your attachments before sending. I will check them too. But two checks are always better than one!
Again-Thank you! I'll be waiting patiently. If enough individuals are willing to send me their art; then I hope to set up an "artist's fund" and/or "Artist of the Month." We shall see. Also, we humbly accept donations for our endeavors at the same address. Bless You All! Lady Avalon.

Where the Creativist Movement Began!
It began with a thought. As most things do. That thought turned within and from within it turned into flowing colors onto canvas. A poem was written about the art and so I coined the term "Poetry Art". Following that, I endeavored to create art with anything; art with a little twist of ingenuity and fate. Anyone can be creative. But only those that have the inner desire to create art from anything and/or combine art with poetry, poetry with illustration, sculpture with prose, or landscaping with a flair...is a true creativist. A Creativist is one that Creates Art from the Heart! I hope you will join in the "Creativist" Movement! |
Do you wish to Help?
As previously stated, if enough individuals are interested in this "Enabling" Endeavor, I wish to set up an "Enabling Artists Fund". To do so I need help from individuals, companies, coorporations, & the like. If you know someone, or if you are someone willing/able to help, then please email me with whatever assistence you can offer. I would like to set up an Art Software Challenge: If an art software company would kindly donate graphics programs to give away as prizes...That would be great. Also, most of us can not afford the graphics software due to limited income; so my idea is they the software companies) give us the much needed software and in exchange we advertise for them by placing a watermark, "Made with 'company name'by 'artist's name'." Or some other beneficial venture.(I could dedicate different gallery pages to different software. etc.)It's just an idea! Let me know what you think! The heavens will bless you!
